Hon Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, a member of the House of Representatives representing Kaduna North, has sworn to remain loyal to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Bello, the son of former Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, stated in a post on his X account that, while he loves his father, he also respects President Bola Tinubu.
The congressman, who was responding to a comment from an X user, @utddiehard_, accusing him of siding with his father, a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stated that he will never compromise his values.
He wrote, “I love my father.” I admire Asiwaju. As long as I am a member of my party, I will never act in opposition to its interests. But I will never compromise on my ideals.
“After all, God is greater than PMB, Asiwaju, Mallam, and Buhari, and it will be God and Kaduna North who judge me.
“My oath included the Qur’an, the Constitution, and the APC Constitution. Any data lad and his sponsor will bow before me if they try to drag me. And that is exactly what it is.
