During Thursday’s NDC stakeholder meeting, Dickson stated that the party and stakeholders will reach a consensus when making nominations and appointments.

According to Dickson, the party has ordered all connected groups, including the Obidient Movement, to be overseen by the NDC.

He claims that they are against someone winning and going it alone.

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege proposed the measure on party supremacy, Senator Victor Umeh seconded it, and it was voted on and approved with His Excellency, Peter Obi present.

The ideas and programs of this party will be examined, argued, and agreed upon by all elected officials, not by their personal preferences but by the party as a whole.

We aim to establish a national institution, and that includes the National Assembly. That is our goal, even if we don’t achieve it in the next year or two. So, we’re saying that government programs and policies should be in sync with the parties, and we’re working on some details to unveil to the public.

Having the party and stakeholders at all levels come to a consensus on nominations and appointments is the second aspect, according to Dickson.
