Fadeelatus-Sheikh Abdul-Mu’min Shehu Usman, an Islamic cleric and the first Muqaddamul Wai’zeen of Oyo State, has urged the Chief Imam of Ilorin designate, Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki Imam Fulani, to do everything he can to promote unity and peace among the Muslims.
Usman issued the call in a statement welcoming the Chief Imam-designate.
In his congratulations message, the Ogbomoso-based Islamic cleric stated that his appointment as Chief Imam designate demonstrates his vast knowledge, humility, and lifelong loyalty to the Qur’an and Sunnah.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to make the new Chief Imam a man of guidance and a light in the darkness, and urged him to promote Ummah unity, as well as progress and development.
In a statement, Fadeelatus-Sheikh Abdul-Mu’min Shehu Usman, Muqaddamul Wai’zeen of Oyo State, expressed joy and gratitude to Allah for his appointment as Grand Chief Imam of Ilorin Emirate by the Emir of Ilọrin.
