Ajibola Basiru, the national secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has disclosed that Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), is being consulted to resolve the ongoing political unrest in Rivers State.
Basiru, who made the revelation on Thursday during an interview on TVC News, revealed that Wike is a significant stakeholder in the present administration.
He claimed that because Rivers State is essential to President Bola Tinubu’s success, Wike is being enlisted to help resolve the situation.
Despite not being a member of the APC, Wike is a fervent admirer of President Tinubu. As someone who cares about President Bola Tinubu’s success, I know that Rivers State is essential to it.
He said that he was being enlisted to help Rivers State’s political situation be resolved.
