According to him, the state government has also formed a high-powered investigation committee under the supervision of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Umar Faruk Ibrahim, to investigate KNUPDA operations as well as concerns involving unlawful buildings and land use breaches.

In a supplementary statement announcing the suspension, Musa Tanko Muhammad, Press Secretary to the Office of the Secretary to the State administration, stated that the administration took the action to maintain openness and allow for a thorough inquiry.
