Supporters of Peter Obi and Rabi’u Kwankwaso, known as the OK Movement, have asked for President Bola Tinubu’s resignation.
The Movement made the announcement in a message released on its verified X handle on Tuesday.
The request came after Obi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate in the upcoming 2027 general elections, sought Tinubu’s resignation, citing outgoing British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who recently resigned.
The movement stated that Nigeria deserved competent and accountable leadership.
“The OK Movement has joined His Excellency. Peter Obi and millions of Nigerians have called for President Tinubu’s resignation.
“Our nation cannot continue to bear the repercussions of incompetent leadership and poor governance.
“Nigeria demands competent and accountable leadership. “Nigeria must be fine,” it said.
