Nentawe Yilwatda, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has expressed praise for the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike’s work rate, while questioning his sleep schedule.
Yilwatda, who admitted to being envious of Wike’s membership in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), wished he could persuade the Minister to defect to the APC.
He addressed at the start of the construction of Collector Road CO1, which connects the Nile University area to Ring Road III and extends the Body of Benchers road.
The road was flagged off as part of a project commemorating President Bola Tinubu’s third anniversary in office, and Yilwatda represented him.
However, Yilwatda stated, “The workaholic, every worker, and tireless Minister, and I don’t know when you sleep.
“The Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, you know how envious I am that you are in the PDP; I wish I could corner you and bring you into the APC.
“But I’m glad the PDP loaned you to us in 2023, and I noticed your letter to the National Working Committee about the PDP borrowing you to us.
“I don’t know that it would lead to such a remark feat by you that what APC can do some of the PDP members can also do it.”
