APCAyorinde, who is from Ibadan North East local government area, made the statement in a press release distributed to journalists on Tuesday.

He explained that recent talks and rising tensions over the emergence of party candidates have elicited significant reactions from APC members.

However, he advised members that the party’s strength has always been based on unity and respect for leaders.

He exhorted party members to embrace peace and discussion, stating that doing so will allow the party to focus on reclaiming the state in 2027.

“As our great party, the All Progressives Congress, or APC, in Oyo State prepares for the 2027 general elections, I call to all leaders, members, supporters, and aspirants to stay calm, peaceful, and devoted to the ideals that have kept us united over the years.

“Recent talks and rising tensions over the emergence of party candidates have elicited strong reactions from many of us. That’s understandable. However, we must remember that the APC’s strength has always been based on unity and respect for leaders.

“Regardless of our personal preferences or political objectives, we must maintain respect for our party’s process and conclusions. Whether or not we agree with those decisions, our devotion must be to the APC’s progress and the ongoing development of our beautiful state, Oyo.

“Let us embrace dialogue, patience, and mutual respect as we work together toward the larger goal of securing victory for the APC in 2027.”
