Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Transportation, has slammed President Bola Tinubu’s administration amid the dispute over his educational records, arguing that his own academic past is easily confirmed.
Amaechi made the statements on Tuesday during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, in response to questions about insults directed at Cardinal John Onaiyekan.
The former Rivers State governor stated that he had classmates from his primary, secondary, and university years who could verify his educational history.
“I do not need to submit my legal degree to INEC. I have classmates. I have classmates from primary school. I can phone them right now. Christian Obong and I were primary school classmates. He said, “I can call my secondary school classmates.”
“I have classmates from primary school. I had classmates from secondary school. Alex Otti was my junior at the University of Port Harcourt. I’m calling folks; you can ask if I went to university, primary school, or secondary school.”
