President Bola Tinubu said he has no ill will against Stanley Osifo, the single candidate in the recently concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) election.
Tinubu remarked this on Sunday while addressing party leaders and supporters after being declared the victor of the APC primaries.
He has demonstrated a desire to communicate with political opponents and critics of his administration.
He believes that democracy is founded on diversity of views rooted in a shared belief in the nation, rather than uniformity of thought.
He stated, “To those who despise our philosophy, we offer dialogue and engagement, not anger, confident that the sincerity of our purpose and the result of our work will speak for themselves.”
He addressed his rival directly, saying, “I owe you no grudge, including Osifo, who spent his money.”
