A vehicle accident at the Polo Roundabout in Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State, killed three individuals.
The event occurred in the early hours of Monday, when a truck apparently lost control and crashed, killing the driver and two others on the scene.
Peter Longsan, the FRSC’s Public Education Officer in the state, reported that the collision occurred at 2:30 a.m.
He blamed the collision on a lack of control, adding that driving at unusual hours often carries additional hazards due to low visibility and driver exhaustion.
Longsan recommended motorists to keep their vehicles in good condition before going on excursions and to rigorously adhere to speed restrictions and traffic laws.
He also warned against overloading and other dangerous driving habits, emphasising that following traffic laws is critical to avoiding accidents and preserving lives.
