The party urged citizens to vote in large numbers, citing Senator Ademola Adeleke’s strong performance in his first term.

The Party also asked Nigerians to support Accord and vote for its candidates in the 2027 general election to ensure inclusive governance.

The party’s state chairmen made the plea when they met the party’s national chairman, Maxwell Mgbudem, on Friday.

Mgbudem emphasised the need of unity among members, stating he is open to suggestions for establishing a stronger political platform with national appeal and relies on the cooperation of party leaders and members.

He advised them to focus on developing a credible platform that will deliver all Accord candidates in the 2019 elections, rather than the efforts of anti-democratic elements seeking to create strife in the party as a result of its rising popularity and acceptance among Nigerians.

Mgbudem also advised members to use Accord’s internal process and alternative conflict resolution channels to air their grievances in compliance with the party constitution, ensuring that any matters would be resolved peacefully and in the best interests of the party.

The national chairman stated that party members would campaign as one family in all elections, with the backing of Nigerians who demand and deserve competent, compassionate leadership and excellent governance, as represented by the Accord.
