Wike asked Fubara to dismiss Rivers SSG, Gov’s CoS, Robinson Ewor says

Robinson Ewor, former Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Rivers State, has revealed that Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s sudden decision to remove the Rivers Secretary to the State Government, SSG, and the Chief of Staff was part of an agreement the governor made with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.

TheĀ  recalls that on February 26, Governor Fubara fired SSG Benibo Anabraba and Chief of Staff Edison Ehie.

Robinson Ewor told Arise TV on Thursday that the removal of the SSG and CoS was the result of negotiations between Wike and Fubara after President Bola Tinubu declared a state of emergency in the state.

The former PDP Acting Chairman claimed that the governor made many deals with the FCT Minister, “including removing the Chief of Staff and the SSG from office”.

He further claimed that the governor “during that negotiation agreed not to run for a second term,” accusing Fubara of misleading his supporters.

The governor said on Tuesday that he has rejoined Wike’s political family, urging his supporters to vote for the Minister’s preferred candidates in the next general elections.
