On Monday, the Secretary to the State Government, Bukar Tijani, characterised the decision as an initiative to foster an environment conducive to political engagement.
The governor has instructed all commissioners to transfer the responsibilities of their respective ministries to Permanent Secretaries by Friday, April 3, 2026.
