Dele Momodu, a former presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), claims that President Bola Tinubu’s administration has accepted more loans than all other Nigerian regimes combined.
Momodu stated this during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Sunrise Daily’, observed on Wednesday.
The publisher of Ovation Magazine also noted that the APC-led government has been unable to balance the trillions of naira budget that it claims to be operating.
“Tinubu’s government has borrowed more than all Nigerian regimes combined. We haven’t seen the results of that financing. So, there is a lot going on that Nigerians don’t comprehend, but there is a disproportionate number of propagandists eager to erase their brains and sell their souls.
“APC is meant to be an offshoot of the Buhari administration, yet every day, it is APC that blames both Buhari and APC.
“So when you see anything like that, you question if these guys are serious. Now they’re claiming, “Oh yeah, they stabilised the exchange rates against the dollar.” I laugh.
They failed to tell us where the dollar was when they gained power.
“Today, they tell us they have trillion-dollar budgets. But they omit to tell us what they did with the trillions, and whether they were able to balance the budget. They tell you that there has never been a government like President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s,” he remarked.
