Nigerian police arrest and deport Chadian, Mahadijiria Abdoulaye, wanted for murder

The Nigeria Police Force detained and returned Mahadijiria Abdoulaye, a Chadian national wanted by authorities in N’Djamena for the suspected murder of Nazik Mahamat Saleh.

According to a statement issued on Saturday by the Force’s spokesperson, CSP Ani Iniedu, Abdoulaye was apprehended by INTERPOL National Central Bureau, NCB, Abuja, agents on August 5, 2026.

According to the statement, Saleh was tortured and killed on May 3, 2026, and the Court of Appeal in N’Djamena issued an international warrant of arrest on June 22 for Abdoulaye and her suspected collaborator, Fatime Senoussi Mouktar.
