Voting has begun in polling stations in Osogbo and Olorunda local government areas of Osun State.

reported that, despite initial predictions of voter indifference owing to pre-election violence, there is a tremendous turnout of voters.
Voters went out in droves in Ward 2, Units 3 and 5, Olorunda local government area, where voting began just before 9 a.m. due to the late arrival of INEC ad-hoc workers.
It was also noted that police officers at voting stations were not armed and handled themselves appropriately.
Voters in Ward 5, Unit 14, Olorunda Local Government Area complained about an alleged BVAS problem, which was later clarified.
