Appointments approved by NDC despite intensifying crisis

The nominations of Agada Abuh Theophilus to the position of Director of New Media and Strategic Communications and Brian Dennis to the position of Deputy Director of the same have been approved by the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, made the announcements in a statement.

“Agada Abuh Theophilus and Brian Dennis have been appointed to the positions of Director and Deputy Director of New Media and Strategic Communications, respectively, by the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).”

Both appointees bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the party’s communications team, and the party is thrilled to have them on board. The NDC is optimistic that their leadership would enhance the party’s visibility and foster more participation from all segments of the Nigerian population, according to a portion of the statement.

An expert in strategic communications, Theophilus has worked on political campaigns, managed corporate brands, handled institutional PR, and worked in new media, as stated in the announcement.

In addition to his Master’s in Development Communications and his ongoing pursuit of a PhD in election administration and management, he is an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.

According to the statement, Dennis has seven years of expertise in political and strategic communications as a communications analyst. Peace and Conflict Resolution is his Master’s degree.

With these new hires, the NDC hopes to fortify its communications infrastructure and increase engagement with Nigerians on all sorts of platforms, according to the party.
