Dino Melaye, a former senator from Kogi West and strongman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has blasted the INEC, claiming it has become an arm of the ruling APC.
Melaye stated that INEC was prejudiced and had misunderstood a court judgement.
The ADC leader expressed his disapproval of the electoral body’s decisions in a video he uploaded to his X page.
Melaye claims that whoever is to blame ought to be removed from office or forced to resign.
There will be repercussions for INEC’s bias and misinterpretation of the court’s judgement; the president or these individuals should be fired.
He declared, “We have lost faith in them” because they proved to be an APC wing.
In response to the party’s delisting, ADC chieftains including David Mark (acting as interim national chairman), Atiku Abubakar (former vice president), Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and others demonstrated outside INEC headquarters.
