Bolaji Abdullahi, spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has criticised President Bola Tinubu for the deteriorating security situation in Nigeria.
His words were in reaction to a post by President Tinubu that emphasised Boko Haram attacks in the North-East.
Tinubu tweeted on September 9, 2014, “The festering Boko Haram attacks on the North-East and massacre of innocent citizens is concrete proof that Nigeria has no government.”
Abdullahi responded to the President by tweeting, “The festering insecurity and violent attacks in Kwara, Katsina, and other parts of the country, as well as the massacre of innocent Nigerians, is concrete proof that Nigeria has no government.”
Abdullahi’s comments broadened the discourse beyond the North-East, highlighting insecurity in other states.
