Isyaku Ali Danja, the Ward Chairman of the NNPP’s Ketawa Ward in Gezawa Local Government Area, Kano State, has resigned from the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, effective immediately.
In a letter dated March 29th, 2026, Danja noted that the decision was made after great consideration.
He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve as a party member, as well as the experiences and relationships he obtained during his time there.
The resignation letter states: “NOTICE OF RESIGNATION FROM THE NEW NIGERIA PEOPLES PARTY (NNPP)
“I, Rt. Hon. Isyaku Ali Danja, a registered member of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), hereby formally submit my resignation from the party with immediate effect.”
“This choice was taken after great consideration.
“I genuinely value the opportunity to be a member of the party, as well as the experience and contacts I developed during my time there.
“Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,” he said.
