Adedamola Adebayo, also known as FRYO, an Osun State governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has endorsed Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party ahead of the August 15 election.

Adebayo, who emerged victorious in a contentious PDP governorship primary in December 2025, announced his decision at a news conference in Osogbo on Wednesday, citing long conversations and careful analysis of the state’s political circumstances.
INEC’s final list of governorship contenders did not include his name.
