The news occurred hours after the strike halted flights and left people stranded at airports around the country.
Osifo-Whiskey Efe, spokesperson for Air Peace, told reporters on Tuesday that the airline has resumed operations but was still working to accommodate passengers affected by the strike action.
According to him, the airline runs approximately 70 regional and international flights each day and had cancelled 29 flights as of Tuesday afternoon, with additional cancellations possible as it determined how many flights could fly with customers waiting at airports.
