Umar Abdullahi, a 25-year-old from Bauchi State, has been seized by Edo State Security Corps (ESSC) operatives for alleged firearm possession in the state.
The suspect was claimed to have been apprehended at 2 a.m. at Akara Junction in the Aduwawa axis of Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area in the state.
Richard Balogun, Corps Deputy Commander, Operations, confirmed the event to reporters, saying the suspect was captured with a gun.
Balogun stated that the suspect has been turned over to the police for investigation and prosecution.
