“They can beat them,” says Reo-Coker, naming the squad Arsenal would like to face

Former West Ham United and Aston Villa player Nigel Reo-Coker has stated that Arsenal will prefer to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League final rather than Paris Saint-Germain.

Reo-Coker made this statement after Arsenal eliminated Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals on Tuesday night at the Emirates Stadium.

Remember that Arsenal qualified for the Champions League final by defeating Atletico Madrid 1-0 on Tuesday, due to Bukayo Saka’s only goal of the game.

Speaking after the game, Reo-Coker stated, as reported by CBS Sports Golazo, “They [Arsenal] probably would want to face Bayern Munich [in the Champions League final] because they have the confidence to beat them.”

Bayern Munich will play PSG in the other Champions League semi-final second leg, with the winner facing Arsenal in the final.

Earlier this season, during the Champions League league phase, Vincent Kompany’s team lost 3-1 against Arsenal.
