Former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani intimated on Saturday that the rekindled battle between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential nominee, Atiku Abubakar, could last until one of them dies.
Sani claimed Atiku had been receiving Obasanjo’s “hypersonic missiles” since the former vice president dropped a “devastating bomb.”
The former congressman posted on X, “The Obj/Atiku feud began when Gen Zs were in nursery and primary school.”
“It continues even after that generation graduates from university, marries, and has children.
“It will most certainly continue till one of them dies and the other pays glowing homage. For two decades, Atiku has been subjected to Obj’s hypersonic missiles after launching a catastrophic bomb at him.
Obasanjo recently resumed his animosity with his former vice president, saying that selecting Atiku as his running mate in 1999 was his biggest mistake.
Following the comment, Atiku has regularly criticised his former principal, reigniting old political feuds.
