Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has accused some politicians of taking advantage of Rivers State’s incumbent governor, Siminalayi Fubara, resulting in the state’s protracted political turmoil.
Wike, a former governor of Rivers State, addressed to the media on Saturday during a special event in the state capital, Port Harcourt.
The Minister claimed that people who reportedly duped Fubara into fighting with him are aware that they lack the ability to fight.
According to Wike, the governor overrated the politicians, who are now insulting Fubara for returning to his former political family.
He explained, “Unfortunately, they utilised Fubara. To tell you the truth, the governor overestimated them. They recognised that they lacked any fighting ability.
“today that the governor has decided to return to his political family, go watch how they are abusing him today. Because there is no longer a possibility to syphon money, they are abusing him,” he stated.
