Ndume: Atiku, Peter Obi, and Amaechi don’t have any new ideas to fight Tinubu in 2027

Ali Ndume, Senator representing Borno South in the National Assembly, has stated that African Democratic Congress (ADC) leaders such as Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rotimi Amaechi have not offered a new strategy to defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.

Ndume remarked this while expressing confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will remain in power following the 2027 election.

He stated while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday.

According to Ndume, “I am not concerned because no one is coming up with anything new.”

“Everyone is talking about it: it’s either Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku, Amaechi, or Peter Obi. “I don’t see anything they’ve presented.”

He also said that, while Tinubu remains in power, the opposition factions, particularly within the ADC, appear to be divided.

“The man driving currently is Tinubu, but those attempting to seize control, as well as the ADC itself, are constantly present.

“At first, I had a lot of confidence, but when you see people focusing on gaining power for themselves, it’s not a big deal,” he told me.

Ndume also stated that, while having some notable personalities, the opposition has struggled to maintain unity and coordination.

“So far, despite their strong personalities, they haven’t been able to keep their house in order. You cannot look down on any opponent, no matter how insignificant they appear.

“Remember, the PDP initially believed that the APC was not serious. Buhari tried multiple times but did not succeed. So I’m not writing about Obi or Amaechi,” he explained.
