As part of a security operation in Kaduna State, troops have seized three motorbikes.
The news broke on Sunday when security expert Zagazola Makama posted about it on X.
In the midst of a combat patrol in the Jema’a Local Government Area, soldiers from Sector 7 conducting Operation Enduring Peace allegedly carried out the operation.
As part of their continuing endeavour to apprehend fugitives in the region, security sources claimed the patrol occurred at approximately 1:40 in the am on Saturday.
As they advanced, the soldiers passed through the Dogo Fili Forest, a notorious hiding place for outlaws.
A source added that during the operation, troops found three motorcycles that the thieves had left behind when they saw the approaching military.
The army have taken possession of the motorcycles that were recovered and will now proceed with their next move.
The operation is a continuation of ongoing measures to restrict the movement and undermine the activities of criminal gangs in Kaduna State, according to authorities.
