After their match against Kun Khalifat FC on matchday 33, Nasarawa United were fined for violating the NPFL structure and rules.
Unauthorised individuals were able to access restricted areas due to the Solid Miners’ lack of sufficient security, according to the league organization.
For insufficient security and for hurling hazardous objects at match officials, Nasarawa United were fined N1 million apiece.
As punishment for their unsporting attitude, they were also fined N1 million.
For their fans’ inappropriate behaviour that resulted in the harassment and 20-minute hostage crisis involving match officials, Nasarawa United have been compelled to pay a fine of N1 million each.
Similarly, the Lafia club will play their upcoming home matches in the absence of spectators.
Nasarawa United has been given 48 hours to decide whether to appeal or be sanctioned.
