Efforts by Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike to make Abuja a capital city of which all Nigerians can be proud are in keeping with President Bola Tinubu’s goal to create a nation that functions through purposeful leadership, Tinubu stated on Thursday.
During his time in office, Tinubu praised Wike, calling him a visionary who spearheaded the Renewed Hope Agenda.
With First Lady Remi by his side, Tinubu addressed the commissioning of the renovated Abuja City Gate, one of the projects commemorating his third year as president.
The construction and expansion of roads, the improvement of public spaces, and the renewed attention to key infrastructures are all things that Tinubu claims Wike has accomplished.
He praised the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, for renovating the monument and his dogged pursuit of improving the city’s vibe. Additionally, I am aware that the nation’s capital is presently engaged in a plethora of infrastructure projects.
“Public areas have been enhanced, roads are being built and expanded, and essential infrastructures are getting a fresh lease on life.
I want to congratulate you, Wike, because you have once again demonstrated that you are a real force behind the Renewed Hope agenda. When you share a vision with an action guy, you see results.
These endeavours are helping to make Abuja a capital city of which every Nigerian can be justifiably proud, in keeping with our goal of creating a country that serves its people by means of effective governance, cutting-edge facilities, and long-term planning to raise living standards.
May this City Gate, which we dedicate today, serve as a perpetual emblem of revitalisation, advancement, and national honour. She is a symbol of our nation’s limitless potential; may those who go through her be encouraged to help her reach her full potential.
