The vice presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rotimi Amaechi, says they are ready to do whatever president Bola Tinubu wants them to do on the pitch.
Amaechi made the statement on Tuesday during an interview with Channels Television’s Politics Today, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He stated, “Let the president continue to tell the public that he will win the election at any cost until we get to the pitch.”
“We will do whatever the president wants us to do on the pitch.” I am not concerned about what he wants to do. We’ll meet at the field.
“Nigeria must be rescued. “What the president and his men are doing offends my faith.”
“Recall that Amaechi ran for the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary election alongside Tinubu in 2022 and lost.
He later defected to the ADC ahead of the 2027 elections, when he would compete alongside former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
